Business Estate Facilities Management Mobilisation

Following a restructuring process this facilities management focused project included the requirement to integrate a new property into the portfolio and the mobilisation of existing properties and public realm to conform to company standards. This included a strategic review of the incoming property, integration of robust PPM and health and safety systems, implementing and management of contractors’ service level agreements and managing TUPE transfers whilst ensuring that the asset value, customer satisfaction and client KPIs were seamlessly delivered. This was achieved within the 12-month project plan period.

"This project enabled the estates team to drive the business forward ensuring that all processes and procedures were in line with company policy allowing us to focus on delivering a first class service to our client and their customers."

Marketing Master Plan Strategy Review and Implementation

It was identified during a wide-ranging corporate review that the business’ marketing strategy should be completely refreshed. Engaging the services of a PR consultancy and design agency, the team spent 6 months working on an updated approach that set the business apart from its competitors. This included rebranding, an occupier engagement strategy, redesign of all marketing collateral and a high profile launch event.

"Changing the focus of our brand to ensure that it is customer centric has differentiated us from our competitors raising the bar in the commercial property market. Our customer engagement strategy has ensured we retained our valued occupiers and attracted new business to the estate."

Wildlife Trusts Biodiversity Benchmark

Complimenting the pre-existing ISO14001 environmental management system and underpinning the business’ CSR strategy, Hillington Park was the first business in the sector in the UK and the first business in Scotland to attain the Wildlife Trusts Biodiversity Benchmark accreditation demonstrating commitment to a land management system that ensures continual biodiversity protection and enhancement. The key initiatives included wildlife monitoring, planting and land maintenance regimes, establishing allotments, beekeeping project, research support for University West of Scotland and a comprehensive lunchtime learning programme.

"I wanted to thank you personally for all of the commitment, drive and enthusiasm that you have shown to achieve and maintain certification. I continue to believe that it was an outstanding achievement on a predominantly urban site."
